a week ago my Atheros 5001 wireless card was working fine, I could connect to secure and unsecure networks with ease. Then I installed the windows update like I always do, and I think that killed my wireless. has anyone had the same problem, or know of a solution. Short of the rescue CD.

I know it’s getting a valid IP address, it comes up w/ a 192.168.0.x on my network, and a 10.x.x.x on the free wireless at work. Which are the same as usual. I’m not getting a private IP like a 169.x.x.x I don’t know. I thought it might a be a known bug w/ the new Windows patch.
It has something to do with att. I wanna make a mywireless account but it’s asking for the wireless number. I have no idea what it is and I wanna know where to find it. I don’t wanna call Att.
Hi,
I have the number of a verizon wireless customer, but forget his name and need to call him. Is there a way I can reverse lookup on his cell number?
Thanks
For coverage reasons, I’m switching from Cingular to Nextel. My Cingular plan is up in March, and I’m looking to start with Nextel ASAP. How do I ensure that my current wireless number goes with me? Do I have to wait until my contract with Cingular expires, or can I do it a month early? Thanks.
Very helpful so far. If I have to port my number to a new carrier *while* the number is still active with my old carrier, does that amount to a cancellation? How can I have my number active at two carriers at once?
