AdaptiveMobile Launches Comprehensive Parental Controls for Mobile Devices Based on Cisco’s Service Exchange Framework

Barcelona, Spain (PRWEB) February 11, 2008

Mobile World Congress – AdaptiveMobile, the leading provider of mobile subscriber protection for enterprises and individuals, today unveiled a powerful set of parental controls that operate across any mobile device, network or technology. The solution, which combines the AdaptiveMobile Policy Control Framework with the Cisco Service Exchange Framework, gives parents the ability to block inappropriate sites, such as those featuring pornography or other adult content, as well as restrict access to sites like MySpace and Facebook. In addition, parents will be able to limit access to certain technologies, like SMS and MMS, as well as block unauthorised phone numbers.

The solution works on mobile operators’ networks, providing an in-depth and granular level of monitoring, that goes beyond simple threat and application blocking to perform instant and automated policy lookup, filtering content and application access according to settings provided by parents. With this solution, parents can vary access levels for different members of their family, allowing some mobile Internet access for teenagers but blocking all access for younger children.

“Teenagers and children are the fastest adopters of mobile content and applications and with mobile phones now serving as minicomputers, children have increasing access to violent and inappropriate content as well as access to social networking sites and contact from strangers,” said Lorcan Burke, Chief Executive Officer at AdaptiveMobile. “With this launch, AdaptiveMobile, working with Cisco, is providing a robust set of controls that give parents the tools they need to ensure a safe mobile experience for their children.”

“As mobile user-generated content and services continue to gain in popularity, and carriers keep on opening up their deck to off-deck content and improving the mobile Web browsing experience, the need to monitor and block inappropriate and copyright violated content will become increasingly important for carriers and customers mobile subscribers,” said Julien Blin, Research Analyst – Wireless and Mobile Communications at IDC. “Cisco and AdaptiveMobile are responding with an offering that protects the most vulnerable mobile users, children and teenagers.”

Executives from AdaptiveMobile will give demonstrations of the solution during Mobile World Congress at the Cisco booth: 8A51 (Hall 8).

Microsoft Exchange Community Selects IdentaPop Pro as the Best Exchange Connectivity Product.

Waterloo, Ontario (PRWEB) May 26, 2004

The Microsoft Exchange users community has rated IdentaFone Software’s IdentaPop Pro as the best Exchange connectivity software solution by awarding it the MSD2D.com 2004 People’s Choice Award for Best Exchange Connectivity Product. The announcement was made at Microsoft’s Tech-Ed 2004 conference in San Diego, CA.

MSD2D.com is an online resource for the Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, .NET and SQL communities. The website, http://www.MSD2D.com, features information on Microsoft associated products and services, and frequently hosts forums for users to share information, experiences and views within their communities to take advantage of their investment in Microsoft products.

About IdentaPop Pro

IdentaPop Pro is a Windows Caller ID popup display that overlays the caller’s name and telephone number on your screen and slowly fades away. It is fully integrated with Microsoft Outlook Contacts for name lookups and screen pops, allowing you to choose a simple Caller ID display, or information from Outlook. If the person calling isn’t in your Outlook file, you can easily create a new Outlook contact. Outlook integration also works with public folders, including Microsoft Exchange Server.

Unlike other desktop telephony applications, IdentaPop Pro’s non-intrusive interface never competes for space on your Windows screen unless you specifically request it to. Since the display fades away after a user-defined amount of time, you do not need to click anything or interrupt your work flow. IdentaPop Pro maintains a permanent log of all phone calls. The application supports TAPI service providers for IP or business telephone systems, including Avaya, Cisco, ESI, 3Com NBX, NEC, Nortel, Panasonic and other CID hardware such as voice modems.

Whether you’re a business person who wants to give a productivity boost to your telephone support people, a call center manager who wants to add a cost-effective customer relationship management (CRM) tool, or a home user who wants to integrate Outlook screen pops with your telephone use, IdentaPop Pro provides the tools that you need.

IdentaPop Pro v. 1.20 runs under Windows 95/98/Me/NT4/2000/XP, and may be purchased securely online at http://www.identafone.com/. Multi-user and site licenses are available. You can download a free trial version of IdentaPop Pro from the same web site.

About IdentaFone Software:

For nearly a decade, IdentaFone Software has been developing and marketing innovative Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) products for Windows. In addition to IdentaPop Pro, the company also offers IdentaFone Pro, an application that uses your Caller ID service and modem to identify your callers using screen pops, speech, reverse number lookups, paging, wireless phones, and email; and IdentaFone Multi-Line Software, a virtual telephone assistant that works with your multi-line Caller ID hardware to monitor from two to 100+ lines.

All Roads Lead To The International CTIA Wireless Show

New York, NY (PRWEB) March 10, 2011

The yellow brick road may have led to the Wizard at one time or another, but for now, all roads lead to CTIA 2011 and Wireless Standard is ready to make that trek. Wireless Standard, B2B Soft’s flagship product, is a leading SaaS Point-of-Sale solution that provides access to software and its functions for the wireless industry.     The platform is currently being used in over 4,000 wireless retail locations with that number increasing daily.

Much of the hype surrounding this year’s CTIA show, scheduled from March 22-24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, has mostly been about the increasing competition among wireless carriers to produce the best tablet and smartphone. With multiple carriers and wireless retailers attending, the show proves to be the best opportunity to announce further enhancements to Wireless Standard, the Point-of-Sale platform that is built specifically for wireless retail.

“We’re very excited to exhibit during this year’s CTIA show,” says Gary Khabinski, B2B Soft’s CEO. “Wireless Standard has continued to evolve with customer demand and this is a great opportunity for us to showcase our product. We’ve listened to what our customers needed in a Point-of-Sale system, from strategic integrations to enhanced Business Intelligence tools and we rebuilt our platform with their needs and demands in mind. Attendees to this year’s show will undoubtedly experience why Wireless Standard has grown rapidly year over year.”

Located in the Peabody Suite, the Wireless Standard team will be on-site to give full product demonstrations as well as meet one-on-one with current and prospective clients. The schedule is filling up quickly, so show attendees are advised to visit the company’s website, at http://www.wirelesstandard.com to schedule a meeting during CTIA 2011.

In order to maximize exposure at this year’s event, Wireless Standard has also paired with their strategic partners and will be exhibiting at the following booths as well:

PreCash on March 22nd, Booth #5431
    WiCon Network on March 22nd & 23rd, from 10:00am – 12:00pm, Booth #5080
    Wireless Business Owner’s Consortium on March 22nd – 24th, Booth #5081

While wireless retailers prepare to watch the unveiling of the latest smartphone and tablet, it’s also important to remember the Point-of-Sale system has to be as advanced and reliable as the new glitzy handset being offered. With Wireless Standard, retailers can provide their customers with the ultimate customer experience while managing their stores from front-of-store to back-end operations. Experience Wireless Standard at the CTIA 2011 show in the Peabody Suite and experience first hand why this Point-of-Sale platform has become the platform of choice for the wireless industry.

Phone Number lookup – Do Free Reverse Cell Phone Lookup Directories Exist? Here’s The Truth

By: Edward
Posted: Apr 05, 2011

Are you finding it hard to find free reverse cell phone lookup directories? The reality is that unfortunately directories of this nature no longer exist. Looking for an unlisted number is a far more complicated procedure than simply acquiring a landline number. Because of the crackdown on privacy laws, people can choose to withdraw their numbers from being published in online and offline phone directories.

What do you do if you still need to generate a contact number that can’t be found on the World Wide Web? There are several options available to you. Completing a search engine investigation with the hopefulness that the owner has left behind a visible footprint of their number is always an option. Unfortunately, nearly all of these independent searches draw a blank.

Many people are apprehensive of leaving their contact details on the internet where they are visible for all to see. Using a search engine to try and generate a number lookup can often be a fruitless task as search engine results will only generate numbers that are visibly available. Even if you manage to find your number, you can never be too sure of its accuracy. If you do find a number this way, it is important to verify its authenticity as there are many fraudulent individuals and companies online.

Free reverse cell phone lookup methods can often be unrewarding. The best way to look for a number is to opt for a paid service. There are lots of affordable companies that offer a paid service that will help you with your number lookup. For a small subscription charge you can often conduct as many searches as you like. Using a service of this nature is easy. All you need to do is enter the known details and the search will generate the contact details you are looking for. In just a few seconds you can have all the details you require – name, address, phone number, and even the name of the phone provider.

The way in which reverse phone lookup companies work is very simple. The company pays a fee to access the large internal databases of the various phone providers. All the information is then collated together to form one colossal directory of numbers. This merged database holds virtually all of the mobile phone numbers that are currently in use in the United States. When you access the service, you are presented with accurate and up to date number information. Identifying a company’s number couldn’t be easier.

In conclusion, locating a free reverse phone lookup directory is going to prove to be an unproductive task. Your best option is to concentrate your efforts into using a service that will find the number for you. Minimal cost for maximum effect is your best option for generating that elusive number. Locating that all important number is always possible when you use a simple paid service to help you.
