Is there a free reverse phone number lookup for UK phone numbers?

I keep getting calls from this number and i have no idea who it is i pick it up and no one speaks. I gets really annoying because they ring at night. I’ve tried ringing back but no one picks it up. Does any one know if they is a free reverse phone number look-up for the uk. The ones i have found are american so that’s not very usefull. Thankyou!

In a word, no.
Reverse lookup is not permitted under British regulations. Which is why you will only find American ones where the laws are different.
Try googling the number. If it is one commonly used by telemarketers etc, there is a fair chance it will come up on some of the sites that compile a database of such numbers.
you can request that your network bars that number from connecting to your phone.
