logobg

McLean, VA (PRWEB) April 2, 2008

WirelessCareer.com announced today the launch of a new and unique career network, exclusively servicing professionals in the wireless industry.

According to research by CTIA, it is estimated that 3.6 million jobs depend, directly and indirectly, on the U.S. wireless industry. That figure, which amounts to approximately 2.5% of all jobs in the U.S., is expected to increase significantly. Research shows that in the next 10 years the US wireless industry will create an additional 2-3 million new jobs.

Despite the size of the industry’s workforce, there currently is no industry specific platform that enables efficient connections between job candidates and employers.

WirelessCareer.com is scheduled to launch a number of new features and tools over the following weeks that will make job searching increasingly more efficient. Taking advantage of social media applications, WirelessCareer.com is creating a distributed network that connects wireless professionals in a more personal and informal way.

“We felt that career networking opportunities for wireless professionals are limited,” said Victor Nelson, spokesperson for WirelessCareer.com. “We believe in keeping things simple, and the simplicity of the network we are creating is what makes WirelessCareer.com an indispensable service for every professional and company in the wireless industry.”

At this time, professionals may sign up to receive updates, and employers may post new opportunities by visiting http://www.wirelesscareer.com.

Wireless Computing Introduces Extended-Range Wireless Keyboards to Protect Against Eavesdropping

(PRWEB) June 4, 2005

New versions of the RF-220 Compact Wireless Keyboard and RF-250 Full-Sized Wireless Keyboard will be introduced at INFOCOMM 2005 in Booth 2529. Enhancements include keystroke -by-keystroke encryption to protect against illicit interception of credit card numbers, passwords, account numbers and other typed information.

According to Martin Phillips, president of Wireless Computing, “Encryption is a plus for everyone who uses a wireless keyboard, whether at work or at home. It is particularly important when the wireless keyboard is used in a security-conscious organization such as a bank, military base, hospital, or government office.”

Addressing the Security Issue

Security can be a critical issue for the extended-

range (100-foot) wireless keyboards used in conference rooms, training rooms and other audience- oriented settings. Extended-range wireless keyboards are prone to interception because of their substantial transmit distances. So if sensitive information is to be typed, encryption becomes vitally important.

Full-Sized Wireless Keyboard

The RF-250 Wireless Keyboard is a 104-key, 2-way RF keyboard with a gel wrist rest and touch pad mouse. 2-way RF technology gives industry-leading 100-foot operating range and excellent immunity to interference, whiletransmitted keystrokes are encrypted to protect against illicit interception. The RF-250 includes a PS/2 port so a corded mouse can be connected in place of the touch pad mouse. A USB receiver is standard, and a PS/2 receiver is available. The RF-250′s suggested retail price is $ 299.

Compact Wireless Keyboard

The RF-220 Compact Wireless Keyboard is an 86-key, reduced-footprint, 2-way RF keyboard with a built-in mouse stick. It shares the RF-250′s 100-foot operating range and excellent immunity to interference And like the RF-250, the RF-220 encrypts transmitted keystrokes to protect against illicit interception. A USB receiver is standard, and a PS/2 receiver is available. The RF-220′s suggested retail price is $ 199.

All Roads Lead To The International CTIA Wireless Show

New York, NY (PRWEB) March 10, 2011

The yellow brick road may have led to the Wizard at one time or another, but for now, all roads lead to CTIA 2011 and Wireless Standard is ready to make that trek. Wireless Standard, B2B Soft’s flagship product, is a leading SaaS Point-of-Sale solution that provides access to software and its functions for the wireless industry.     The platform is currently being used in over 4,000 wireless retail locations with that number increasing daily.

Much of the hype surrounding this year’s CTIA show, scheduled from March 22-24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, has mostly been about the increasing competition among wireless carriers to produce the best tablet and smartphone. With multiple carriers and wireless retailers attending, the show proves to be the best opportunity to announce further enhancements to Wireless Standard, the Point-of-Sale platform that is built specifically for wireless retail.

“We’re very excited to exhibit during this year’s CTIA show,” says Gary Khabinski, B2B Soft’s CEO. “Wireless Standard has continued to evolve with customer demand and this is a great opportunity for us to showcase our product. We’ve listened to what our customers needed in a Point-of-Sale system, from strategic integrations to enhanced Business Intelligence tools and we rebuilt our platform with their needs and demands in mind. Attendees to this year’s show will undoubtedly experience why Wireless Standard has grown rapidly year over year.”

Located in the Peabody Suite, the Wireless Standard team will be on-site to give full product demonstrations as well as meet one-on-one with current and prospective clients. The schedule is filling up quickly, so show attendees are advised to visit the company’s website, at http://www.wirelesstandard.com to schedule a meeting during CTIA 2011.

In order to maximize exposure at this year’s event, Wireless Standard has also paired with their strategic partners and will be exhibiting at the following booths as well:

PreCash on March 22nd, Booth #5431

    Wireless Business Owner’s Consortium on March 22nd – 24th, Booth #5081

While wireless retailers prepare to watch the unveiling of the latest smartphone and tablet, it’s also important to remember the Point-of-Sale system has to be as advanced and reliable as the new glitzy handset being offered. With Wireless Standard, retailers can provide their customers with the ultimate customer experience while managing their stores from front-of-store to back-end operations.
